According to the FBI, a woman is battered every 15-18 seconds and approximately one third of female murder victims are killed by their husband or boyfriend in the United States.

Domestic violence occurs in an estimated 4 million intimate relationships each year in the United States and it has been reported that domestic violence causes more injury to women than cancer, heart attack, or stroke.

This workshop will specifically focus on the plight of Black females and the complications involved in their environment. This workshop has limited seating.
