GEORGIA CERTIFICATION

 

Dear    Colleague,

As Director of Crossroads Training Center, I am pleased to announce the availability of over $300,000 in third year funds (FY 2010) to support and assist aspiring individuals pursuing Certification as Substance Abuse Counselors.


The Certified Addictions Counseling Training Program is designed to help individuals acquire the skills and training necessary to counsel those who suffer from the effects of Substance Abuse. The program meets the educational and training requirements established according to The Georgia Addiction Counselors Association (Providers # 09-120-11)and was developed in conjunction with professionals in the field of substance abuse. Please confirm certification requirements established by The Georgia Addiction Counselors Association.


Participants completing this program will be prepared to apply for certification from The Florida Certification Board. Crossroads has the resources to provide Certification Training in each of the fifty states. Resources may be provided to assist students in locating counseling internships and counselor positions.


To assure appropriate review, all information should be typed or printed clearly. A resume will not substitute for completion of the application.
